What is MCESP

Marginalised Communities Entrepreneurship & Sustainability Programme

Bridging the Margin to the Mainstream.

MCESP is an institutional framework and long-term programme for social change. It is designed to sustainably induct underrepresented communities into modern enterprise, digital services, manufacturing pathways, and the literacy — financial, legal, and technical — that those paths require.

It is not a single app, a single country, or a charity handout. It is a blueprint: learning that is actually accessible, stories that make enterprise imaginable, and a community that does not punish the first mistake. The goal is structural inclusion — so people at the margins can enter organised economic life as stakeholders, not permanent outsiders.

Curiosity sits at the centre of the work. Progress depends on the freedom to ask, to try, and to learn in public. MCESP is built so that freedom is not reserved for those who already have networks and safety nets.

MCESP is developed under the Kectil community project initiative — a legitimacy frame for open, community-rooted work rather than a closed private brand.

India is the first full implementation. This global home is the charter — so people elsewhere can join, adapt, and carry the same principle into their own contexts.

Qvritti — digital learning for enterprise and livelihood pathways.

Digital vehicle

Qvritti

Qvritti is the digital learning vehicle under the MCESP framework. The name points to sustainable livelihood and balanced profession. The “Q” stands for quest, question, and curiosity — the habits that make enterprise and problem-solving possible over a lifetime.

It is being built to deliver foundational, highly accessible knowledge on business pathways, compliance, and core skills — so people who were never handed a formal playbook can still step into organised economic life with clarity rather than guesswork.

Qvritti is not the whole of MCESP. It is one instrument of the blueprint: learning that reaches beyond metro classrooms and closed networks.

Prajna Regional Intelligence — mapping opportunity and ground reality.

Regional insight

Prajna Regional Intelligence

Prajna is the regional intelligence and insight layer under the MCESP framework. It exists so programme design stays honest to ground realities — opportunity, constraint, and local economic texture — rather than a template written far from the people it claims to serve.

Regional mapping and data-informed awareness help chapters see where enterprise pathways can take root, where skills gaps are real, and where support should concentrate. Insight is a means, not an end: better decisions for builders, partners, and communities.

Like Qvritti, Prajna serves the same charter: widen the circle, and keep room for people who were never given a fair first step.

Under development

One framework, local chapters

MCESP is the charter and the curriculum of inclusion. Qvritti and Prajna are tools being developed to carry that charter into learning and regional awareness. Delivery happens in local programmes — starting with MCESP India — so the work stays concrete, not only conceptual.
